Imagine if you took all of the designers on those weird BBC makeover shows and turned them loose on a hotel, and you would have the Hotel Helix. One enters through sliding curtains – not doors – and is hit with multicolored squares of light that change colors every few seconds.

Yesterday we learned of the passing of Robert Moog, physicist, musician, and inventor of the Moog Synthesizer. Moog had brain cancer, and died at his home in Asheville, NC.
My Palm Lifedrive arrive this week. With all the craziness going on with our network, I didn’t get around to playing with it much until this weekend. The jury is still out, but right now I’m not so sure that this was such a great upgrade.
I’ve been resisting a gas price rant. Really, I have.
