Early Saturday morning four of us who post to Flickr met up at Furman for a photowalk as part of the Exposure.Greenville! Flickr group. Photographers Eric Morris (Rested Traveler), Pher Reinman (PU Skunk) and Patrick Greer (linkerjpatrick) joined me next to the lake at a very early 8:30 AM so that we could catch the morning light. We took some pictures of the bell tower and mists rising off the lake, then wandered around campus shooting other pictures. The weather, lighting, and fall colors were perfect, and we each took tons of shots.
As someone mentioned in the group discussion, even though we were pointing our cameras at pretty much the same scenes, it was interesting to see how different those images turned out. We used different cameras, lenses, and exposures, and each of us composed the images just a little differently. We decided for a group photo we would take a picture of ourselves reflected in a mirror sphere in a sculpture near the Younts Conference Center.
Here’s a few more shots from the day…
…and the rest of the photos can be seen here.
