We ended our trip to Florida with a sunset cruise around the Indian River. Amy was kind enough to help find the best vantage point for sunset photos, while I clicked away. I managed to fill up and entire 2-gig SD card.
The next morning we were up early for our departure. As I loaded the car, the sounds of a hymn wafted over the water from some church’s Easter Sunrise Service. It felt a bit weird. This was the first Easter where we had not been involved in ANY church activity on Easter Sunday since we lived in Tucson, about 15 years ago. We had dyed eggs last night, but that wasn’t the same.
The drive back was tedious, made all the more tiring with the realization that work was waiting for us on Monday. There was a quick side trip to see my parents, then we headed on home to collapse.
